VoodooShield
How it Works
VoodooShield™ uses a new approach to blocking viruses and malware. Please watch this short 3-minute video to see just how easy it is to use.
Traditional antivirus software attempts to block the 15,000+ new viruses a day. We realized that antivirus companies cannot possibly keep up with all of new viruses, so we chose to take a different approach. VoodooShield™ blocks EVERYTHING except the software you train it to allow.
Installing and training VooodooShield™ is simple and only takes a few minutes. You will then be able to enjoy a virus-free and malware-free web browsing experience!

Advanced Options and Settings

You will notice that if you right click on the VoodooShieldTM Icon, a menu will appear that contains advanced options and settings.

1. The Hide Option will place the VoodooShieldTM icon in the System Tray. Once in the system tray, you can right click on the VoodooShieldTM icon and choose the Show Option to restore the icon to your desktop.

2. The Train Me Option is a special learning mode where you can train VoodooShield™ which programs should be allowed. During training, VoodooShield™ does not protect your computer, but is usually only required for the first 30 minutes of using VoodooShield™. Once you are finished training VoodooShield™, simply left click Train Me once again to turn VoodooShield™ ON.

3. The Move Me Option will allow you to move the VoodooShieldTM Desktop Icon around your screen. When the VoodooShieldTM Desktop Icon is in the perfect location, you can right click on the Move Me Option again to lock the icon into place.

4. The Help Option will take you directly to our website for help, in the event that you experience a problem.

5. The Register Option will allow you to start or update your VoodooShieldTM subscription.

Keep in mind, VoodooShield is not traditional AntiVirus Software, and will not remove viruses from your computer. However, if your computer is virus free, VoodooShield will protect your computer from ever getting viruses and malware. All it takes is a few minutes of training, and you will never have to worry about annoying scans or AntiVirus pop ups again!

VoodooShield™ FAQs
What are the System Requirements for VoodooShield?

For PC's, VoodooShield™ is compatible with Windows XP SP2 and above.
For Servers, VoodooShield™ is compatible with Windows 2003 Server and above.
Will VoodooShield™ remove viruses or malware?

No. If your computer has a virus, VoodooShield™ will not remove it. However, VoodooShield™ will protect your computer from getting viruses and malware.
Antivirus Software always slows down my computer, will VoodooShield?

No. VoodooShield™ is extremely fast and lightweight. You will notice if you uninstall your current Antivirus software and only use VoodooShield, your computer will be faster.
Does VoodooShield™ work with traditional Antivirus Software?

Yes, although if VoodooShield™ is used properly, it is the only protection you need. However, you might choose to keep your current AntiVirus software running until VoodooShield™ is trained and you are comfortable using it properly.
How can you be so sure that VoodooShield™ will stop all viruses?

Because VoodooShield™ blocks EVERYTHING unless it is allowed to run by the user.
I went to a trustworthy website and it would not function properly, how do I fix this?

VoodooShield™ works great with most websites. However, there are some websites that have special applications that VoodooShield™ must learn to allow. Simply turn VoodooShield™ off, and go back to the website. Once the website is functioning properly, you can turn VoodooShield™ on. VoodooShield™ will also reactivate automatically, should you forget to turn it back on.
I went to a questionable or unknown website and VoodooShield™ keeps flashing. What do I do?

Most likely VoodooShield™ is killing a virus. We highly recommend that you do not visit that site.
Is it difficult to train VoodooShield™ which programs to allow? How long does it take?

Training VoodooShield™ is much easier and quicker than you would think. On average, it takes around a total of 10 minutes to train VoodooShield. Once VoodooShield™ is trained, you never have to worry about annoying AntiVirus pop ups and scans again. Please watch the video on the How it Works page to see how to train VoodooShield.

Re: VoodooShield

czyli to taki rygorystyczny UAC, w którym jesteśmy zmuszeni do tworzenia reguł?

Re: VoodooShield

VoodooShield.2.08 Beta

Here is the latest version, with the bug fixes from yesterday, I am hoping they are all fixed. If anyone has any weird issues, please download and install the "special" version. It will display a message box of everything that is allowed and blocked. So if VS starts acting funny, hopefully we can narrow down what triggered it.

Podobno zaimplementowali KMD

I jeszcze jedna ciekawostka dotycząca przyszłych wersji VS - developerzy zamierzają zaimplementować AI do swojego programu:

VS is going to have a new feature soon, and there will probably be a few questions, so I figured that I would tell you as much about it now so that you will know what it is all about. The new feature is called “Voodoo Ai” for now, and if anyone has a better, less pretentious name, please let us know and we will change it ;). Voodoo Ai utilizes 3-4 machine learning / artificial intelligence algorithms along with other “features” of the portable executable (PE) binary (exe’s and dll’s) to assist users in making the correct decision (block or allow) when VS prompts them. Machine learning / artificial intelligence is kind of the latest “craze” in security software, and it differs from behavior blocking / heuristics in that the analysis all occurs pre-execution. VS is not the first to offer this (there is at least one other company specializing in this), and in the last 4-5 years there have been a lot of academic studies that have accessed the viability of machine learning and artificial intelligence in detecting malware, and as it turns out, while it will never be 100% perfect, it is quite accurate.

So here is pretty much how it works. When advanced users (like all of the wilders users) see a new file, there are a lot of different “features” of that file that help you and I determine whether it is a malicious file or not… basically if it acts like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is probably a duck. For example, if the new file is not digitally signed, it is marked as “hidden”, and it just “looks” odd, then we know that it is extremely suspicious. We are using several other features, but I was not planning on listing all of them for obvious reasons ;). BTW, if you guys can think of any tell-tale features of malware, please let me know and I will see if we can add them as well. So basically what this new feature does is combine the 3-4 ML / AI algorithms with the other tell-tale “features” and it decides whether the file should be considered safe or not.
