This time there are also some new functions:
- Secure FTP (FTPS) and HTTP (HTTPS) now work without OpenSSL DLLs! Beta 14 uses functions from Windows found in the file Secur32.dll.

Please report bugs here in the TC 9.0 beta bug report forum, ONE BUG PER MESSAGE! If you reported a bug for beta 1/2, please check whether it has been fixed! There should be a hint in the readme.

IMPORTANT: Currently the new functions are available only in English, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian. More languages will be added soon.

This time there are also some new functions:
- New placeholder in multi-rename tool: Converts all composite characters (e.g. separate a and ^) to precomposed characters (â).
- New SSL/TLS implementation: support TLSv1.1 and TLSv1.2, and report the protocol in the connection log.
- Define view mode commands when switching away from a view mode to a different mode. Separate by | (vertical line), e.g. cm_100percent|cm_50percent
- The following internal commands now accept parameters 0 (toggle, default), 1 (true), and 2 (false), except in main menu (* stands for LEFT, RIGHT, and SRC): CM_VERTICALPANELS, CM_*THUMBS, CM_*BYNAME, CM_*BYEXT, CM_*BYSIZE, CM_*BYDATETIME, CM_*UNSORTED, CM_*NEGORDER.

This is still a pre-release version, but sufficiently stable for every day use.

This version mainly fixes bugs, but also includes the new icon library for button bar and main menu, in addition to the older icon library. You can choose the library during the first start, or later via right click on one of the button bars.

October 19, 2016: Total Commander 9.0 release candidate 2 (rc2) is now available for download. This is a bugfix release. There are a lot of new features in TC9, see this forum post for the most important. This is still a pre-release version, but sufficiently stable for every day use.
