VirtualDVD

VirtualDVD to niewielki, bezpłatny program, który instaluje na naszym komputerze wirtualny napęd CD/DVD. Za pomocą programu możemy emulować do 24 wirtualnych napędów optycznych, w których można według uznania zmieniać litery napędów czy ustawić dowolny region DVD. Za pomocą VirtualDVD możemy zamontować następujące obrazy płyt CD/DVD/Blu-ray utworzone przez inne programy:

Program VirtualDVD jest wyjątkowo prosty w obsłudze. Po instalacji w oknie Mój Komputer pokazuje się dodatkowy napęd wirtualny. Początkowo jest jeden, ale ich ilość możemy zwiększyć do takiej, jaka jest nam potrzebna. Obrazy płyt montujemy poprzez menu kontekstowe, które rozwijamy z ikonki programu w zasobniku systemowym. Poza zmianą ilości emulowanych napędów, możliwością automatycznego startu z systemem i zmianą języka program nie udostępnia żadnych innych opcji konfiguracyjnych.

Spolszczenie interfejsu nie jest najwyższych lotów, ale miejmy nadzieje, że w następnych wersjach programu zostanie poprawione na bardziej zrozumiałą polszczyznę. Mimo tej niedogodności program działa szybko i niezawodnie.
