Angry IP Scanner to bezpłatny (open-source) i wieloplatformowy skaner sieciowy charakteryzujący się przejrzystym interfejsem i prostotą użytkowania (nie wymaga instalacji i w znikomym stopniu zużywa zasoby komputera).

Narzędzie powstało głównie z myślą o administratorach sieci komputerowych i w głównej mierze to właśnie oni robią użytek z Angry IP Scanner. Program umożliwia bowiem bardzo szybkie skanowanie adresów IP, portów, a także oferuje inne funkcje przydatne w codziennej pracy (np. wyświetla dane hosta, czas odpowiedzi i informacje o aktualnym pingu). Naturalnie aplikacja może być również wykorzystywana przez użytkowników domowych w rozmaitych celach.

Angry IP scanner pozwala na analizę otwartych portów, sprawdzenie geolokalizacji adresu IP i ustalenie adresu MAC karty sieciowej. Narzędzie zawiera dodatkowo opcję tworzenia listy ulubionych adresów IP, które chcemy zapamiętać, by użyć ich później w konkretnym celu. Pozyskane dane można eksportować do pliku w formacie CSV, TXT lub XML.
