ChromeCacheView jest małym narzędziem, które czyta folder cache w przeglądarce internetowej Google Chrome i wyświetla listę wszystkich plików aktualnie zapisanych w pamięci podręcznej. Dla każdego pliku pamięci podręcznej wyświetlane są następujące informacje: adres URL, typ zawartości, rozmiar pliku, ostatni dostęp, czas ważności, nazwa serwera, odpowiedź serwera i inne.

Można łatwo wybrać jeden lub więcej elementów z listy pamięci podręcznej, a następnie wyodrębnić pliki do innego folderu lub skopiować listę adresów URL do schowka.

Możesz wybrać jeden lub więcej plików z pamięci podręcznej z listy, a następnie wyeksportować listę do pliku TXT, HTML, XML (zapisać wybrane elementy), skopiować listę adresów URL do schowka (CTRL+U), skopiować całą tabelę plików (CTRL+C), a następnie wkleić je do programu Excel lub do otwartego arkusza kalkulacyjnego. Możesz także wyodrębnić rzeczywiste pliki z pamięci podręcznej i zapisać je w innym folderze, można to zrobić, używając opcji “Kopiuj zaznaczone pliki Cache do” (F4).
