fre:ac - free audio converter

fre:ac (kiedyś BonkEnc), czyli darmowy konwerter audio. Jest to jeden z ciekawych programów, który konwertuje pliki dźwiękowe, jak również zgrywa płyty Audio-CD na komputer. Zgrywa i konwertuje do : MP3, Wave, MP4/M4A, Ogg Vorbis, AAC, Bonk, AIF, VOC, AU lub FLAC. Przy zgrywaniu pobiera informacje o utworach z internetowej bazy danych CDDB/CD FreeDB.

Obsługuje CD-Text i zapisuje informacje o utworach do tagów ID3V2 lub Vorbis (nazwa albumu i wykonawcy, rok wydania, gatunek muzyczny). Program fre:ac zawiera własny odtwarzacz audio i oferuje pełne wsparcie dla Unicode.

Program oferuje pełne wsparcie dla Unicode oraz co istotne potrafi wykorzystać potencjał nowoczesnych procesorów, znacznie skracając tym samym proces konwertowania. fre:ac dostępny jest w polskiej wersji językowej, co w połączeniu z przyjaznym użytkownikowi interfejsem graficznym sprawia, że nawet początkujący nie powinni mieć problemów z jego obsługą.

This is a major release with more than 80 new features compared to fre:ac 1.0.33. Highlights include:
