HWiNFO32 to profesjonalne narzędzie systemowe, służące do identyfikacji wszystkich podzespołów znajdujących się w naszym komputerze. Za pomocą tego programu możemy również wykonywać proste testy wydajnościowe wybranych komponentów. HWiNFO32 stanowi godną konkurencję dla konkurencyjnej aplikacji AIDA32.

Program HWiNFO32 dostarcza nam szczegółowych informacji odnośnie procesora, płyty głównej, pamięci operacyjnej RAM, karty dźwiękowej i graficznej oraz napędach. Oprócz tego otrzymamy obszerną listę aktywnych portów i urządzeń plug & play. Aplikacja obsługuje bez problemów wielordzeniowe procesory i karty graficzne o pojemności 2GB.

W programie znajdziemy również niezbędne narzędzie odczytujące temperatury i napięcia w poszczególnych komponentach. Wystarczy uruchomić funkcję „Sensors”, z której odczytamy dokładne temperatury i napięcia z procesora, procesora graficznego, dysku twardego oraz z pozostałych podzespołów (o ile mają zamontowane czujniki). Nie zabrakło również dokładnych danych odnośnie pamięci wirtualnej i fizycznej. Wszystkie pomiary możemy zapisywać w formie logów, które automatycznie zapisują się do odpowiedniego pliku tekstowego lub XML oraz HTML.
