Method #1: Fix or Repair Corrupted Flash Drive/Pen Drive Using CMD
Whenever we try to fix a corrupted flash drive or even a microSD card, CMD comes first as a helping hand, and it is very easy to do the process. So let us follow the steps to repair our corrupted flash drive by using CMD.

Step #1. Plug your flash drive or pen drive in the slot is given to your PC.

Step #2. Go to start menu and type ‘cmd’ in the search bar and hit Enter.

Step #3. Now you must be seeing cmd.exe under the list of programs, so right click on cmd.exe and type the following command:

“chkdsk /X /f USB drive letter:” It can be either G or f depending upon the number of parts your PC hard drive has.

The final command could look like this: “chkdsk /X /f G:” or “chkdsk h: /f”

Step #4. The above command will start repairing your damaged USB flash drive without formatting so let the process complete.
Method #2: Fix Corrupted Flash Drive Without Formatting and Rescuing the Data
Step #1. Insert your corrupted USB flash drive into given slot in your PC.

Step #2. Go to My Computer → Removable Disc (Could be “G:”)

Step #3. Right click on removable disc and click on properties and then on ‘Tools’ tab.

Step #4. Click on ‘Rebuild’ button and wait for the process to finish.

Step #5. Once the process is over close the scan window and right click on the USB flash drive icon and click on ‘Eject.’

This process will remove the flash drive from your PC, and you will get back your flash drive working again.
