NoteCase Pro Lite to darmowa wersja komercyjnego programu przeznaczonego do szybkiego zapisywania, organizowania, dostępu, usuwania i ochrony różnych informacji zawartych w notatkach.

Poszczególne notatki mogą mieć proste formatowanie (pogrubienie, kursywa, podkreślenie, kolor, czcionka/rozmiar czcionki, wyrównanie tekstu) i dodawanie obrazów. Notatki mogą być organizowane w listy lub drzewa. NoteCase Pro ma zdolność do importowania danych z ponad 30 formatów plików, w tym z takich programów jak: Evernote, XMind, TreePad, Tomboy, FreeMind, MindManager i innych. Obsługuje formaty TXT, RTF, HTML czy OPML.

Zapisuje nieograniczoną ilość notatek, zmienia skórki programu, obsługuje wiele języków interfejsu, obsługuje skróty klawiaturowe, ustawia kolor tła, obsługuje cofanie i powtarzanie, wstawia niestandardowy tekst, tła, czcionki i ikony w poszczególnych tytułach notatek, ma opcję zawijania i wyrównywania tekstu, wczytuje ostatnio używane dokumenty przy uruchamianiu, dołącza pliki do notatek i inne.

Istnieje wiele ograniczeń w porównaniu do komercyjnej wersji, np. brak sprawdzania pisowni, autouzupełniania, list, osadzanie audio, brak zmiany rozmiaru obrazu czy brak opcji drukowania. Ale jeśli jesteśmy przyzwyczajeni do korzystania z systemowego Notatnika, to lista funkcji dostępnych i tak wydaje się imponująca.

Podczas instalacji można wybrać wersję Portable.​

Aby uruchomić niezarejestrowaną wersję programu, proszę wybrać tryb Lite lub Trial.
Tryb Lite: Niektóre z bardziej zaawansowanych opcji zostaną wyłączone. Dokumenty będą mogły być zapisywane tylko w formacie .ncz, rozmiar dokumentu dowolny.
Tryb Trial: Bez limitu opcji, wszystkie opcje dostępne, rozmiar dokumentu ograniczony do 10 notatek.

• fix: Treepad import may fail to import parts of the (RTF type) note
• add: you can enlarge undo list size (default 50) by setting the .ini parameter "UndoListSize" within "Operation" section to desired value (must be > 0)
• add: new Lua method Nc_GUI_MultiInputDlg enables input of more than one data value in a single window, sample script "61_MultiInput.lua" demonstrates the method usage
• add: new hidden .ini file setting to dump data program copied to clipboard for debugging purposes, activated with adding "DumpCopiedData=1" in "[Debug]" section
• fix: "General Settings" dialog, when reopened after changing TextFont setting, shows the old font setting
