WinContig to mały, niezwykle funkcjonalny i mało wymagający program, który został stworzony do defragmentacji pojedynczych plików lub folderów, bez konieczności defragmentacji całej partycji czy dysku twardego.

Nie tworzy żadnych katalogów instalacyjnych, ani wpisów do rejestru. Przed podjęciem defragmentacji program sprawdza dysk pod kątem błędów. Ma możliwość usuwania niepotrzebnych plików systemowych, kontrolowania całego procesu, grupowania plików w profilach, zapisywania wygenerowanych raportów do plików tekstowych.

Pracuje szybko i z dobrą jakością. WinContig jest samodzielnym plikiem wykonywalnym i nie wymaga instalacji dodatkowych bibliotek DLL.
