TeamViewer QuickSupport to niewielka aplikacja z rodziny TeamViewer, służąca do przyznawania dostępu zdalnego użytkownikom korzystającym z głównej edycji programu

. Aplikacja pozwala na szybkie udostępnienie Pulpitu w trybie zdalnym, dzięki czemu podłączony użytkownik może kontrolować nasz system i przeprowadzać np. niezbędne naprawy czy konserwację. Możliwe jest również wzięcie udziału w konferencji lub transmisji audio/wideo z osobami zaproszonymi do naszego komputera. Program nie wymaga instalacji. Po uruchomieniu TeamViewer QuickSupport, zostanie wyświetlone skromne okienko z danymi uwierzytelniającymi, które należy podać zdalnemu użytkownikowi, aby mógł się z nami połączyć. Login jest stały, zaś losowe hasło zostaje wygenerowane przy każdym kolejnym włączeniu aplikacji lub po skorzystaniu z odpowiedniej opcji. Oprócz danych uwierzytelniających, zdalny użytkownik nie musi posiadać żadnych innych uprawnień do przeprowadzania rozmaitych operacji w naszym systemie.

Program korzysta z rozwiązań wykorzystywanych w głównej wersji TeamViewera – radzi sobie bez problemów z zaporami sieciowymi, ustawieniami ruterów NAT i zablokowanymi portami, nie przeszkadzają one w połączeniach. Stosowane jest kodowanie sesji przy pomocy algorytmu AES 256-bit, zaś transfer danych odbywa się poprzez szyfrowane kanały, wykorzystujące 2048-bitową wymianę kluczy RSA. W ustawieniach programu można aktywować logowanie zdarzeń, otworzyć log, ustalić parametry serwera proxy, skonfigurować właściwości połączenia konferencyjnego (w tym ustawienia mikrofonu i odtwarzania głosu) oraz preferencje wideo (ustawienia kamery, podglądu i jakości obrazu, wyświetlanie grafiki statycznej zamiast wideo).

Szata graficzna aplikacji jest przyjemna dla oka i w miarę nowoczesna. Obsługa nie powinna przysporzyć nikomu większych trudności. Program świetnie nadaje się dla mniej doświadczonych użytkowników, pozwalając im m.in. na bezproblemowe skorzystanie ze zdalnego serwisu komputerowego. W witrynie producenta nie znajdziemy szczegółowych instrukcji odnoszących się do TeamViewer QuickSupport, jednak wystarczy skorzystać z porad przygotowanych dla głównego wydania TeamViewer.
