[Grandalf]

PicoTorrent został zaprojektowany, jako przyjazny klient sieci peer-to-peer (BitTorrent) dla systemu Windows o wysokiej wydajności i niskim zużyciu pamięci.

Zbudowany jest bezpośrednio na interfejsach API systemu Windows, co oznacza, że działa natywnie we wszystkich wersjach systemu Windows. Aplikacja jest prosta w użyciu, a wszystkie elementy sterujące torrentem są ukryte w menu kontekstowym.

Podstawowe cechy PicoTorrent:
-silne szyfrowanie z obsługą tunelowania przez I2P, SOCKS4, SOCKS5 i HTTP(S)
-działa zarówno z IPv4, jak i IPv6
-wielojęzyczny interfejs użytkownika
-darmowe (open source), ze świetną społecznością.

Inne cechy:
-podgląd listy torrentów w kolejce (szacowany czas pobierania, prędkość pobierania i wysyłania…)
-przenosić pliki w górę i w dół kolejki
-ustawianie minimalnej i maksymalnej prędkości pobierania i wysyłania
-konfiguracja maksymalnej liczby połączeń
-brak tworzenia.
