Jest to niewielkich rozmiarów program umożliwiający odczytanie folderu pamięci podręcznej przeglądarek Firefox / Mozilla / Netscape. Aplikacja wyświetla listę plików przechowywanych w pamięci cache dołączając do nich dokładne informacje, takie jak nazwa pliku, URL, czas ostatniego dostępu i ostatniej modyfikacji, ilość trafień, rozmiar pliku, nazwa folderu itp.

Tak na marginesie... wcześniejsza nazwa tego programu to MozillaCacheView, autor programu musiał jednak - jak sam to mówi - zmienić jego nazwę "ze względu na obsesję ludzi z Mozilla Foundation". Podobno otrzymał list od ich adwokata w którym powoływano się na prawa do ich znaku towarowego i skłoniono go do zmiany nazwy tego narzędzia.

  • Added 'Collect Full Response Headers' option. When it's turned on, you can use the 'Copy Full Response Header' option (Ctrl+H) to copy to the clipboard the full response HTTP header sent by the server.
  • Fixed bug: For some cache items, some of the information was missing because MZCacheView failed to locate the HTTP header.

Like the column header click sorting, if you click again the same sorting menu item, it'll switch between ascending and descending order. Also, if you hold down the shift key while choosing the sort menu item, you'll get a secondary sorti
