Pocket Radio Player to lekki, bezpłatny odtwarzacz internetowych stacji radiowych, pozwalający na słuchanie ponad tysiąca rozgłośni z całego świata. Program korzysta z popularnej biblioteki FMOD, która gwarantuje wysoką jakość dźwięku i stabilne, bezproblemowe działanie na niemal każdej konfiguracji sprzętowej.

Pocket Radio Player został wyposażony w minimalistyczny i prosty w obsłudze interfejs. Mimo niskiego skomplikowania, oferuje on jednak całkiem spore możliwości. Do dyspozycji użytkownika oddano spis ulubionych rozgłośni, opcje filtrowania listy według gatunku lub nazwy stacji oraz podstawowe kontroli sterujące odtwarzaniem (graj, stop, pauza, następna/poprzednia stacja, regulacja głośności, wybór serwera lustrzanego).

Inne cechy programu:
- wyświetlanie loga i podstawowych informacji stacji radiowej,
- funkcja oceniania rozgłośni,
- zmiana wyglądu interfejsu za pomocą skórek,
- konfigurowalny rozmiar bufora,
- zapamiętywanie odtwarzanej stacji i pozycji okna,
- wizualizacja dźwięku,
- wbudowany edytor playlist,
- podstawowe skróty klawiaturowe,
- automatyczne sprawdzanie aktualizacji,
- historia odtwarzanych radiostacji,
- minimalizacja do zasobnika systemowego (ikona obok zegara).

Aplikacja jest rozpowszechniana bezpłatnie na zasadach licencji freeware. Program nie wymaga instalacji oraz współpracuje z systemami operacyjnymi z serii Mac OS X, GNU/Linux i Windows. Na stronie autora znajdziemy również dokumentację oraz aktualną listę stacji w dwóch wersjach (normalnej i uproszczonej).

Spolszczenie!
Pocket Radio Player jest dostępny w polskiej wersji językowej. Spolszczenie interfejsu można ustawić z poziomu okna konfiguracji (ikona z kołem zębatym).
