Z okazji walentynek za darmo pełna dyskografia amerykańskiego zespołu hip-hopowego De La Soul. Promocja będzie trwała 25 godzin. Rozpoczęła się ona 14 lutego o godzinie 11:00 a zakończy się w południe 15 lutego 2014 r. Wchodzimy na stronę z promocją i podajemy: first name i email. Na pocztę dostaniemy list z linkami do muzyki.

Zespół De La Soul ma wkład w rozwój jazz rapu i alternatywnego hip-hopu. Grupa składa się z trzech członków: Posdnuosa, Trugoy'a i Maseo. Zadebiutowali oni na amerykańskiej scenie muzycznej wydając krążek 3 Feet High and Rising. Album zawierający żartobliwe gry słowne, innowacyjne sample i dowcipne skity został okrzyknięty arcydziełem. Zdobył tytuł albumu roku magazynu NME. Pomimo sukcesu pierwszego albumu, w latach 90. grupa pozostawała w cieniu artystów reprezentujących cięższe odmiany muzyki hip-hop. W roku 2006 zespół został uhonorowany nagrodą Grammy za nagranie wraz z Gorillaz singla Feel Good Inc.

The Crazoids był futurystycznym projektem muzycznym z początku lat osiemdziesiątych XX wieku. Stworzył go Australijczyk Japetus aka Jay, którego zafascynowała muzyka Pink Floyd i The Moody Blues. W jego wczesnej twórczości widać też wpływy takich wykonawców jak: Elton John, David Bowie, Cat Stevens, Duran Duran, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello i Peter Gabriel. Free Digital Punk Rock Compilation - „Punk Never Dies Vol. 1”

I am so proud to be presenting bands as diverse as The Altar Billies, which feature legendary singer/songwriter/guitarist Mike Stand who helped inspire a whole generation of punk rockers with his time in The Altar Boys, to Mxpx who helped usher in a new era of “punk rock” in the 90′s that wasn’t afraid to have a good time and still wear “faith” on it’s sleeve, to Dogwood who singer Josh Kemble declared “My Faith in you will never die….” and on to a whole new crop of bands that will hopefully re-establish what it means to be punk rock and inspired by Faith, here in 2011. I encourage you to check out this free digital download (going live on November 1st), listen to all the songs, and finally visit all the bands on their social media sites listed below. Słowo bootleg wywodzi się z czasów amerykańskiej prohibicji i oznaczało ono alkohol wyrabiany bez zezwolenia i jakiejkolwiek kontroli państwa przez bary, nielegalne kluby lub miejsca, gdzie można było go nabyć. Był to też zwyczaj ukrywania piersiówek z nielegalnym alkoholem w cholewkach butów.

Bootlegi pochodzą najczęściej z nielegalnych nagrań w czasie koncertów. Jakość dźwięku może być od słabej do bardzo dobrej. Nagrania dokonywane były za pomocą przenośnych magnetofonów lub kamer wideo przemycanych na koncerty. Niektóre mają profesjonalny charakter, gdyż powstawały bezpośrednio na konsoli miksera z udziałem operatorów dźwięku. Rzadziej są to nagrania okazjonalnych transmisji radiowych lub telewizyjnych z koncertów. Bardzo rzadkimi przypadkami są bootlegi tworzone na podstawie taśm kradzionych z archiwów wytwórni płytowych. Mogą to być również wykradzione nagrania z prób (ang. rehearsal) lub nagrania demo.

Dla grup, szczególnie tych z okresu świetności rocka, istnieją olbrzymie katalogi bootlegów, obejmujące niemal wszystkie występy tych grup. W przeszłości wydawane na winylowych płytach lub taśmach magnetofonowych i rozprowadzane kanałami półlegalnymi. W dobie Internetu dystrybucja bootlegów jest znacznie ułatwiona.

Początkowo zjawisko było zwalczane przez artystów i producentów, lecz wobec olbrzymiej skali oraz, jak się okazało, niewielkiej jego szkodliwości, zaprzestano tego. Niektórzy artyści uznali wręcz, że obieg bootlegów jest dobrym sposobem promocji ich muzyki oraz miarą popularności ich twórczości.

Nagrania dokonane podczas koncertów bardzo często stają się pamiątką z danego koncertu. A te zarejestrowane, np. z radia czy telewizji, są czasami także wykupywane od kolekcjonerów przez zespoły, jeżeli nie posiadają one danego nagrania w swoich archiwach (lub nigdzie indziej) i np. planują ich wydanie w formie oficjalnej.

Wydawane bootlegi z koncertów są nieraz jedynym źródłem zawierającym rejestrację pewnych wyjątkowych wydarzeń muzycznych, co poszerza wiedzę o danym wykonawcy.

Z czasem zaczęto też wydawać tzw. oficjalne bootlegi - official bootlegs. Były to nagrania koncertowe autoryzowane przez artystę lub grupę i będące w normalnej sprzedaży. Od albumów z muzyką koncertową (live) różniły się brakiem obróbki i miały bardziej surowe brzmienie.

Twórcy bootlegów pozostają całkowicie nieczuli na sukcesy komercyjne artystów i grup muzycznych. Nie są bootlegowani muzycy odnoszący sukcesy komercyjne. Głównym adresatem bootlegerów są bowiem „inteligentni” fani. Stąd olbrzymia liczba bootlegów Boba Dylana, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd i Patti Smith.

Wymiana bootlegów nie jest zwalczana przez prawo, ale czerpanie korzyści materialnych z ich sprzedaży już tak.

Ska jest stylem muzycznym, który powstał na Jamajce w wyniku połączenia rhythm 'n' bluesa, calypso, jazzu nowoorleańskiego i swingu. Absolutny hit ostatnich dni. Premiera szóstej płyty zespołu Coldplay miała miejsce 19 maja 2014 roku a już dzisiaj można ją otrzymać za darmo w wersji cyfrowej na portalu muzycznym bandcamp.com. Na dodatek jest to rozszerzona wersja deluxe, na której znajduje się 12 utworów. Krążek w takiej postaci miał być dostępny tylko w USA. Zwykła płyta liczy 9 utworów.

Coldplay – brytyjski zespół muzyczny, grający muzykę rockową, założony przez wokalistę Chrisa Martina i gitarzystę Jonny'ego Bucklanda w 1996 roku na University College London.

Międzynarodową rozpoznawalność przyniosło zespołowi wydanie singla „Yellow” w 2000 roku, zapowiadający debiutancki album grupy pt. Parachutes, który otrzymał nominację do nagrody Mercury Prize.

Druga płyta, A Rush of Blood to the Head z 2002 roku, zdobyła wiele wyróżnień muzycznych, w tym tytuł „Albumu Roku” według magazynu New Musical Express oraz „Najlepszej płyty wszech czasów” według słuchaczy BBC Radio 2.

W 2005 roku premierę miał trzeci album zespołu – X&Y, który został najczęściej kupowanym krążkiem roku. Trzy lata później premierę miał czwarty krążek formacji, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, który zdobył Nagrodę Grammy podczas 51. ceremonii w kategorii „Najlepszy rockowy album” oraz nominację do statuetki w kategorii „Album roku”.

W październiku 2011 roku ukazało się piąte wydawnictwo zespołu pt. Mylo Xyloto, które zajęło pierwsze miejsce na liście najchętniej kupowanych płyt w 34 krajach, a w Wielkiej Brytanii zostało najchętniej kupowanym albumem rockowym roku.

Coldplay zdobył mnóstwo nagród w swojej karierze, m.in. osiem statuetek Brit Awards, pięć wyróżnień na ceremonii MTV Video Music Awards oraz siedem Nagród Grammy. Od początku działalności, grupa sprzedała ponad 55 milionów płyt oraz angażowała się w wiele akcji charytatywnych, takich jak Live 8, Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief, Sound Relief czy Sport Relief.
