FreeFileSync - narzędzie do porównywania i synchronizacji danych, dla którego synchronizacja dużej ilości plików nie stanowi problemu. FreeFileSync umożliwia pracę w czterech trybach. Pierwszy to tryb automatyczny, następnie lustrzany (prawy folder będzie nadpisany zawartością lewego).

Godny aprobaty jest tryb uaktualniania nowych lub zaktualizowanych plików oraz tryb własny, który pozwala samemu zdefiniować własne zasady synchronizacji.

Porównywanie danych jest możliwe względem daty modyfikacji plików, ich zawartości oraz rozmiaru. Ogromną zaletą programu jest to, że występuje w polskiej wersji językowej, jest bezpłatny, a ponadto jego obsługa jest prosta i intuicyjna. Plik instalacyjny umożliwia instalację na systemach 32 i 64-bitowych.
