  • UI-Translation: Thanks for Chinese Traditional (Matt), German (Cartman586)

Fix


  • Components: DeliveryOptimization removal was hiding WU page in Win11
  • Components: On-screen keyboard (Accessibility) removal could break CU install
  • Updates: Downloader detection of existing updates that did not finish installing, for a possible retry
  • Features: Some configurable features were not detected in Server editions, e.g. Windows Server Backup and Bitlocker

Updates: KB5012170 integration sorting order fix
Updates: Custom Clean Updates could break Win10 1809 update install
Updates: DISM update cleanup error was reported as an empty Appx Optimization error by mistake
(To avoid DISM’s limitation, clean while integrating updates into RTM.1 images, not with pre-added .NET updates or preconfigured features)
UI: NVDA screen reader compatibility, was crashing
Components: ‘Windows Update Medic Service’ removal error 5 on captured images
Components: Disk Usage and Disk Raid detections (were dependent on DiskPart existence)
Components: SpellChecking was removing Settings Typing, now keeps that page due to other options on it being useful
Settings: Storage and RAM setup bypass requirements just RAM bypass now, as Storage Bypass tweak did not work and is unnecessary

  • Components: Undo/Redo functionality on the component selection
  • Components: App Removal Mode switch – choice between DISM-only, or DISM + Custom for the previous method with deeper removals
  • Components: SFC compatibility option, for those that want SFC /scanfile clean with deeper removals without servicing stack (updating) compatibility

Upgrade


  • UI: Automatic dark mode if host has apps set to dark
  • Updates: Detects older than installed cumulative updates as already existing updates, even if not specifically integrated (they would be ignored during the process anyway)
  • Updates: MSIX/APPX (app) integration now done after component removal, in case a replacement of the same app is used in the same session
  • Updates: DISM Cleanup now shows progress in the UI on Win11+ hosts
  • ISO: Create ISO limited to CPU cores number of instances, for those running multiple editions/instances to limit resources
  • UI-Translation: Thanks for French (tistou77), Italian (clarensio), Korean (Redrabbit)

Fix


  • UI: Target image operations now again also using the tray icon progress indicator
  • Updates: OptimizeAppx should not have been available on winre and boot.wim
