Quick Access Popup 11.6.3​

Options
- reorder options sections in "Options" dialog box and menu
- add new option under "Menu Icons" to set a custom icon for "Link" favorites and, if present, use it instead of the default browser's icon
- duplicate the "Open Customize window at Startup" option in "General" section

Customize window
- when the "Customize" window is active
- add support for extra mouse button (side buttons) to navigate Forward and Backward in submenus
- support for extra mouse button (side buttons) to navigate Forward and Backward in submenus
- support Alt+Right and Alt+Left to navigate backward and forward in submenus (in addition to existing hotkeys Shift+Ctrl+Right and Shift+Ctrl+Left)
- update the "Customize Window Shortcuts Help" dialog box (F1) under the "Help" menu
- add button on the left side of the window to launch the favorite selected in the "Customize" window
- enable this button for launchable favorite types Folder, Document, Application, Special, URL, FTP, QAP and Group (not applicable for Snippet)

Various improvements
- support the new placeholder "{SelectedText}" and replace it with the text currently selected in the active window
- check if the Clipboard is free before refreshing the "Clipboard" menu
- QAP is now compiled with AHK runtime v1.1.37.1
- update language files for French, Italian, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese and German

- when editing a favorite document or application, if user selected a custom icon, keep this icon when the favorite is edited (instead of resetting to the default icon)
- retrieve Windows Apps (UWP) icons for the "Current Windows" menu (QAP can retrieve only icons from running and not minimized apps)
- when adding or editing a Windows App (UWP) favorite, retrieve the favorite's icon using a temporary Windows shortcut (.lnk) file
- enable the Close (X) button in the "Check dor update" dialog box

- fix a bug when a favorite location (or snippet text) containing multiple {Input:prompt} placeholders is used repeatedly
- fix a bug when saving the size of "Add/Edit Favorite" dialog box for future use
- add diag code when saving favorites to verify performance of AHK command IniWrite (impacted by some Windows Defender rules)
- add info to the error message displayed when checking for QAP update returns an error (possibly impacted by some Windows Defender rules)

Quick Access Popup 11.6.4.4​

  • When adding a favorite and retrieving web page icons or Windows apps icons, now save the retrieved icons under the subfolders WebPageIcons and WindowsAppsIcons of user's custom icons folder set "Options, Menu Icons", by default under QAP Settings folder; this allow the user to save retrieved icons in a folder that can be shared on a multi-users system
  • Better support changing folder in the new multi-tab Win 11 window CMD or PowerShell (WindowsTerminal.exe); in details: stop using the /D option not supported in Win 11 WindowsTerminal.exe tabs open in PowerShell mode, instead, send two commands to change drive, then change folder
  • Remove unwanted & in favorite type label in some error messages
