The following are new fixes of Rollback Rx v10.2:

Fixed laptop powers down due to low battery life and Rollback Rx did not have enough time to save the snapshot index to disk
Add file filter driver to check changes to the EFI file in the unprotected system reserve partition
Add a check of the Master Boot Record (MBR) to prevent it from been removed by 3rd party MBR scanning utility
Add a settig to scheduled tasks to delete the snapshots
Modify Russain language files

Change the program name from Rollback Rx PC to Rollback Rx Professional
A totally re-designed client communication module to work with the new Remote Management Console (RMC)
Add Tree View to the snapshot window
Add a check for updates feature
Check if the subsystem has been removed by 3rd party antivirus scanner when system is shutting down or restart
Expand RAM usage by the subsystem when updating baseline
Support multiple hard drives with different partition styles (MBR, or GPT)

What's Fixed:

Fix the problem that installer does not recognize the drive letters same as Windows explorer
Fix the problem that setup fails with insufficient disk space due to NTFS MFT table are not continuous
Fix the problem that license activation fails on UEFI subsystem
Fix the BSOD cause by bootmgfw.efi
Fix the problem that tray icon does not show up after a reboot due to "MySearchString" is too long

Hey folks,

We've been keeping this under wraps until we could address it, but at the MS Ignite trade show in Chicago last month (attended by some 23,000 techies) an incredibly talented person found an exploit that works against ALL of our software (RollBack Rx Home and Professional, Drive Vaccine, Reboot Restore Rx, and RollBack Rx Server). Essentially, this allowed this person to remove the software without the need for an Administrator password.

Working with this person we were able to patch this exploit, which is being made available today.

We have since applied this to all new builds, which will be posted up shortly, as well as a blog post explaining the matter further.

It is highly recommended to upgrade to the most recent build of our programs to ensure you have the most secure versions.

For security reasons we will not be releasing exact details on how the program was cracked.

Will post more info. when it becomes available.

UPDATE: New build now available for RollBack Rx (Professional, Home, Server), Drive Vaccine, and Reboot Restore Rx.

- Added an option on the new snapshot screen to create new snapshot using Windows Volume Shadow service.
- Added UseVss=1/0 switch in the setup.ini to set the VSS option.
- Moved entire license activation process from the Windows service to the subsystem to avoid cracking.

Niech coś zrobią z zawieszaniem się systemu po utworzeniu migawki z poziomu systemu, co oznacza reset systemu i po uruchomieniu systemu sprawdzaenie błędów na dysku. Pozostaje mi robienie migawek z poziomu konsoli odzyskiwania przed bootowaniem systemu. Do powiem, że tworzenie migawki na świeżo zainstalowanym systemie bez żadnego oprogramowania też wiesza system. Nie wiem, co jest grane, nie wiem co powoduje taką reakcje systemu. Na VMWare też tak się dzieje.
