Screenshot Captor to bezpłatna (z wyłączeniem zastosowań komercyjnych) aplikacja przeznaczona do przechwytywania zrzutów ekranowych z całego pulpitu lub jego dowolnego obszaru.

Aplikacja jest banalnie prosta w obsłudze. Wystarczy wybrać odpowiedni tryb przechwytywania i następnie po wykonaniu zrzutu można go zapisać na dysku twardym, wydrukować, przesłać do znajomego w sieci lub wykonać szereg innych czynności.

Screenshot Captor zawiera kilka przydatnych filtrów pozwalających dodać do screena efekt rozmycia, narzędzie do tworzenia miniaturek oraz cienie. Program posiada ponadto kilka narzędzi pozwalających na edycję obrazka (np. wstawianie innego obrazka, kształtu, strzałki czy tekstu). Użytkownicy mogą wykonywać zrzuty ekranowe z kamery internetowej lub innego zapisu wideo (ESR).

Każda opcja oferowana przez program posiada swój skrót klawiszowy, dzięki czemu użytkownik może łatwo i szybko wykonać pożądany screen.
