Źródło: instalki.plXwidget to oprogramowanie pozwalające na dodawanie na pulpit systemu wielu przydatnych widgetów jak zegarki, przeglądarki grafiki, czytniki RSS, launchery czy paski przedstawiające bieżące parametry działania komputera. Aplikację charakteryzuje bardzo duża szybkość działania i minimalne wykorzystanie zasobów systemowych.
Xwidget daje użytkownikowi wiele możliwości konfiguracji prezentowanych elementów począwszy od położenia po poziom przezroczystości czy możliwość wyświetlania nad oknami. Domyślnie producent zaoferował kilkanaście dodatków, jednak bazę możemy poszerzyć pobierając widgety ze strony producenta.
Nic również nie stoi na przeszkodzie by utworzyć własne dodatki dzięki dostępnym przyciskom, paskom, grafikom czy ikonom. Istnieje również możliwość spakowania gotowego gadżetu w celu dalszego jego rozpowszechniania.
Uwaga!
Podczas instalacji proponowany jest dodatek adware, stąd też przeglądarka Google Chrome może zgłaszać komunikat o szkodliwości programu.
