PITBULL - MR. WORLDWIDE

Pitbull to sceniczny przydomek latynoamerykańskiego rapera, który nazywa się Armando Christian Pérez i jest synem emigrantów kubańskich. Początkowo jego życiorys przypominał wszystkich tych, którzy przybyli do USA z „El Mariel”. Samotnie wychowywany przez matkę, później rodzina zastępcza, półświatek, narkotyki... itd. W każdym razie wziął się w garść i skupił się na swojej karierze muzycznej.

Początkowo zafascynowała go muzyka z gatunku Miami bass oparta na charakterystycznym brzmieniu syntezatora Roland TR-808. Teksty natomiast zawierały ostre i wulgarne treści erotyczne. Muzyczne inspiracje czerpał też z twórczości takich latynoamerykańskich wykonawców jak: Willy Chirino oraz Celia Cruz. o Ta ostatnia nazywała się naprawdę Úrsula Hilaria Celia de la Caridad Cruz Alfonso de la Santísima Trinidad. Prawda, że łatwe do zapamiętania.

Początkowo pełnił rolę supportu podczas kilku koncertów Eminema i 50 Centa. Pierwszy kontrakt podpisał w 2001 roku z wytwórnią Luke Records. Po niej była niezależną firma Famous Artist Music & Management. W tym czasie Pitbull skupił się na tworzeniu muzyki radiowej. Nagrał wówczas ponad 50 nowych utworów. Ówczesny jego szef, Robert Fernandez, skomentował tak ten fakt: „W tamtym okresie jego muzyka zawierała masę wersów, przez co dojście do refrenu zajmowało zbyt wiele czasu. Dlatego zabraliśmy się za produkcję piosenek chwytliwych, angażując się mniej w ich stronę rapową”.

Debiutancki album Pitbulla pt. M.I.A.M.I. ukazał się w 2004 roku. Do dzisiaj wydał siedem płyt. Raper prowadzi własny, hiszpańskojęzyczny program La Esquina na antenie telewizji kablowej Mun2. Założył też wraz z Seanem „Diddym” Combsem wytwórnię Bad Boy Latino, promującą takie gatunki muzyczne jak latin soul, latin hip-hop oraz muzykę tropikalną. Stał się również twarzą wódki Voli Vodka.

Na swoim koncie ma wiele przebojów z udziałem znanych wykonawców, też sam się udzielał w nagraniach innych. Taka tam sztama latynoamerykańska. Z Kryśką Aguilera nagrał utwór „Feel This Moment”, do którego powstał fantastyczny teledysk. Tam też wypowiada, ale jak, te jego gesty i barwa głosu, następującą kwestię: „Christina Elena Aguilera. Oye mamita, come on, dale, que la cosa esta rica” (co znaczy podobno - „Christina Elena Aguilera. Hej mamuśka, chodź, chodź, te rzeczy są wartościowe”).

Z innym raperem - Flo Ridą nagrał utwór „Can't Believe It”, który stanowi swoisty hołd dla kobiecych pup. Obydwaj artyści bardzo... Powstają kolejne hiciory zarówno w języku hiszpańskim, jak i angielskim – „Rabiosa”, „Tu Cuerpo”, „Hotel Room Service”, „Rain Over Me”, „Outta Nowhere” i inne. Ostatnio Pitbull opublikował klip do nowego singla „Timber”. W nagraniu tym wspiera amerykańską piosenkarkę Ke$ha. Sekwencja muzyczna w nim utrzymana jest w stylu country.

Powstały też remixy z udziałem Pitbulla - „Get Lucky” formacji Daft Punk i „Wake Me Up” szwedzkiego DJ-a Avicii. Na koniec powiem, że z Pitbulla jest taki raper jak z jamnika pitbulterier. Często też raper występuje na koncertach w gajerach, tudzież marynarkach. Jego muzykę określam jako dance rap, latino erotic rap czy też sexy rap. Taki typowy seksistowski macho z hiszpańskojęzycznego Miami. Za to nadaje się idealnie do tego, żeby zacząć zabawę karnawałową. :imprezka Na początek jeszcze ciepły i parujący kawałek z jego ostatniego koncertu sylwestrowo-noworocznego, rzecz jasna z Florydy. Później można już tylko zapiąć pasy, ponieważ będzie to bardzo wyboista noc.
