Changes in Reg Organizer 9.61 (2025-01-20):​

• Applications tool:
  • Visual improvements in the application uninstallation with traces lookup window.
  • Enhancements to the application list under the dark interface theme.
  • Some settings, which were previously located in a separate settings window, have been moved directly into Applications tool, within the buttons with three dots located right on the action buttons. This simplifies access to these options.
  • The list grouping commands for better accessibility have been moved to the dropdown menu by the arrow above the applications list.
• Startup Applications Tool: When selecting a custom display mode for startup applications (using the Custom button on the top panel), the selected application types are no longer reset when switching to other display modes.
• The Undo Changes Center window (for restoring backups) has been updated.
• The interface of the button panel has been improved when working with the registry file.
• The appearance of the Important Registry Parts tool has been updated.
• The program no longer uses VBScript scripts due to Microsoft’s plans to phase out its use in Windows.
• Bugs fixed:
  • On some systems, the Security section on the main screen would freeze, causing the entire rest of the program to freeze.
  • Applications tool: Grouping by developer was not saved after restart.

• Applications tool:
• A Startup items are now added to the traces of applications found in the system. You can immediately see which installed applications are set to launch automatically when the system starts. Applications that launch automatically are marked in the list with a "speedometer" icon.
• AWhen application traces cannot be moved to the Recycle Bin, the program requests confirmation for permanent deletion.
• AWhen pressing the F5 key or selecting the command Ellipsis icon -> "Refresh Window data", a deeper refresh is performed compared to previous versions. The number of traces is recalculated for all programs displayed in the window.
• AStartup Applications tool:
• AStartup items are now retrieved faster.
• AThe "Show the Startup Entry Location" context menu command for items of type Service and Task Scheduler now works differently. Instead of opening a registry key, it opens the system applet Services/Task Scheduler with a tooltip indicating the name by which the target entry is listed.
• ABugs fixed:
• AStartup Applications tool: Sometimes text with paths on the bottom panel was truncated, failing to display in full.
• AStartup Applications tool: When selecting the service entry of Reg Organizer itself, named Chemtable Startup Checking, the information about it in the bottom panel was displayed incorrectly.
• ARegistry Editor: If after deleting registry entries from the search results you continue to make changes in the Registry Editor unrelated to the search, these actions are added in the Undo Changes Center to the backup entry related to the deletion of search results.
• AIf the program was maximized to full screen, after restarting the system and restoring it from the tray, it did not remember this window state.
