Clonezilla 3.2.1-28​

• The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2025/May/04).
• Linux kernel was updated to 6.12.25-1.
• Partclone was updated to 0.3.36.
• Added packages libfsapfs-utils, usb-modeswitch and fscrypt in Clonezilla live system.
• Added new program ocs-find-live-key & updated ocs-put-log-usb so that it can copy the log files even when Clonezilla live USB drive is used in "To RAM" mode. It will find the USB key that: (1) is vFAT file system and (2) contains the file "Clonezilla-Live-Version", then it will be treated as Clonezilla live USB drive.
• ocs-live-repository: added dev=///OCS_LIVE_USB so that the Clonezilla live USB drive can be assigned as the image repo, especially when Clonezilla live USB drive is booted in "To RAM" mode. The Clonezilla live USB drive has to be vFAT file system since it's used to boot in both uEFI and MBR mode. Hence it is not a good choice for image repo since vFAT file system has many restrictions. Better to use UUID or LABEL to assign the image repo.
• Improved the saving dialog menu and prompt.
• Added a mechanism to mitigate the random order of block devices. It can be enabled by adding the boot parameter "ocs_1_cpu_udev", i.e., when udev is started in initramfs, only 1 CPU is online. After that, all CPUs will be enabled.
• drbl-ocs.conf: enabled btrfs support in drbl-ocs.conf since Partclone has been updated to 0.3.36 which supports btrfs v6.13.

BUG FIXES​

• Disable devices list cache mechanism since blkid is run too many times that makes program run slowly.

• The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2025/May/12).
• Linux kernel was updated to 6.12.27-1.
• Package ezio was updated to 2.0.16.
• Added 3 options in drbl-ocs.conf for running ezio: ezio_seed_max_connect="6" # Max total connections number. ezio_seed_max_upload="5" # Max upload connections number. ezio_upload_timeout="90" # The interval to keep uploading and waiting for other peer (sec). These 3 parameters can also be assigned in boot parameters so that seeder and leecher of ezio can be controlled.
• ocs-live-swap-kernel: firmware directory will be included.

BUG FIXES​

• ocs-get-dev-info: do not escape whitespace of blkid output. Ref:

• The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2025/Oct/17).
• The Linux kernel was updated to 6.16.12-1.
• Partclone was updated to 0.3.38, which includes a fix for a btrfs-related issue.
• Added a new program, ocs-blkdev-sorter, which allows udev to create Clonezilla alias block devices in /dev/ocs-disks/. This is used by the udev rule 99-ocs-sorted-disks.rules.
• Added the "-uoab" option to ocs-sr and ocs-live-feed-img to support selecting Clonezilla alias block device names in the TUI. This experimental feature addresses the random ordering of kernel block devices and can currently only be enabled via a command-line parameter.
• Improved the performance of ocs-get-dev-info.
• Improved ocs-blk-dev-info to ensure 'jq' works correctly in some cases and to increase efficiency.
• Added ocs-cmd-screen-sample, which can be used with the "run again" script. It works with screen, tmux, and the console.
• Added support for imaging MTD block and eMMC boot devices in expert mode. The options "-smtd", "-smmcb", "-rmtd", and "-rmmcb" can be used for saving or restoring.
• Added a new program, ocs-live-gen-ubrd, to merge an OCS zip file with a U-Boot enabled bootable raw image, creating a new U-Boot enabled OCS live raw disk.
• The en_US language file was refined.
• The full repack command is now saved (for informational purposes) into ./{live/}Clonezilla-Live-Version.
• Formatted the output of ocs-scan-disk for better readability.
• Added the 'atd' and 'cron' packages to the live system; their services are disabled by default.
• The live-boot package was updated to version 20250815 and patched to include the 'ethdevice-link-timeout' boot parameter, allowing users to set the timeout for the Ethernet device linking status.
• Set 'ethdevice-link-timeout=7' in the live client. This changes the Ethernet device linking status timeout to 7 seconds (down from the default of 15 seconds). Ref:
