How to install it
Just run the setup executable (links above). You can either install it from scratch, or on top of an existing avast installation (installing over both 5.0.xxx or 4.8.yyy should be fine). A reboot will be required to complete the installation.


What's new
Most notable improvements include:
- solved a problem in aswSP.sys that could lead to a system crash
- improved tolerance for corrupted installations
- when updating from a previous version of avast Pro/IS, SafeZone is now automatically added
- fixes in Chrome WebRep plugin
- Behavior Shield: improved compatibility with other applications
- improvements in the CommunityIQ submission system

Hi everyone,

we will soon be releasing a new program update of avast. And as usual, we're making it available for public testing a few days before the official release. The version number is 6.0.1184.

This is hopefully going to be a smooth service release, designed really just to fix some of the issues of the previous v6.0 builds.

Here's the list of the most important changes:
- improved compatibility with Windows Vista SP0/SP1
- attempt to solve the "Windows Media Player using a red skin" problem
- Firewall: improved compatibility with uTorrent
- improved the sample submission process
- introduced new CreditAlert feature (US customers only)
- improved load time of WebRep IE plugin
- improvements in the silent installer
- improvements in the sandbox module
- added Thai and Serbian language packs

- Web Shield: scanning of all processes can now be disabled in shield's Expert Settings
- Cosmetic changes in the UI

- Improvements in WebRep plugins (especially IE)
- Stability improvements in aswSP.sys and the avast! sandbox
- File system shield: improved on-close scanning
- avast! Internet Security: new antispam engine
- Web Shield and Script Shield: more options in the UI

The UI of the new version also includes the avast! Market, a new way to get info (and potentially try/buy) other avast products. This section can be hidden by disabling the avast! recommendation features in the avast! Community settings.

U mnie na po zainstalowaniu Avast7 przestaje działać przywracanie systemu. Gdy chcę uruchomić wyskakuje powiadomienie z jakimś tam błędem i wiadomością ,że punkt przywracania systemu uległ awarii. W trybie awaryjnym działa lecz nie wprowadza żadnych zmian ,czyli niby przywraca system do wskazanego punktu lecz tak nie jest.
Po odinstalowaniu Avasta problem znika.
Spotkał się ktoś z takim zachowaniem?
