NEW! Cloud Based Antivirus Scanning
CIS 5.x has integrated the cloud based computation everywhere. From on-demand scanning to process execution control, it checks if the file is known in the cloud.

NEW! Cloud Based Behavior Analysis
Instant malware analysis has been introduced to CIS 5.x making detection of unknown malware possible! Any unknown file that is sandboxed and NOT observed by COMODO before is submitted to CAMAS and results are sent to the PC in 15 minutes after the upload process is done.

NEW! Game Mode
Now CIS has a game mode. Just before you start to play a game, you can switch to game mode and all the alerts will be suppressed. Virus database updates or schedules scans will also be postponed.

IMPROVED! Default Deny re-engineered to improve application compatibility
Unlike CIS 4.x, CIS 5.x, by default, automatically runs every unknown executable as "Partially Limited", which is a new level introduced with CIS 5.x.

IMPROVED! A New User Interface!
You will be seeing a lot of suprises with the new user interface. It is friendlier, easier and prettier.

BETA NOTICE: This is a BETA release. It means this release is intended for special users who would like to join testing efforts for the product. It can contain serious bugs and must NOT be used in any production system.

What needs to be tested?
We would like to see the general stability and operation of the product in a wide variety of cases. The effects of cloud computing and new default deny architecture should improve the compatibility of other applications with CIS. Use of variety of applications will help us asses the effectivity of the cloud based servers too.

Another important testing area is the installation. Please let us know all the installation problems you face.

dobrze, comodo idzie za ciosem, ciekawe kiedy final
jak testowałem 4 to był to dobry pakiet, ale 5 może być jeszcze lepsza

ja się pewnie też nie skuszę bo mój pakiet plus skaner na żądanie jest kilka razy bardziej skuteczny od jakiegokolwiek zabezpieczenia antywirusowego.
mój stary komp z małą jak na te czasy ilością ram działa szybko i sprawnie. dlatego że nie muli go żaden działający w real time badziewny antywirus.
mam cały czas dostępne około 60 % wolnej pamięci bo mój 32-bitowy win 7 z zabezpieczeniami zajmuje 36 % - 40 % pamięci

Zastanawiam się jak takim firmom, które wypuszczają darmowy soft jak np: CIS 5 opłaca się pracować za darmo? No bo z czego oni właściwie płacą swoim pracownikom? Tylko nie mówcie mi, że zarabiają na innych programach bo nie uwierzę A taki np: ArcaBit ma problemy ze swoim softem bo podobno nie ma wystarczającej ilości pracowników żeby dopracować swój soft bo podobno słabo się sprzedaje (tak wyczytałem na innym forum).
Zatem jak to jest, że jednym opłaca się pracować za darmo a inni narzekają na sprzedaż? Bo nie wierze żeby nawet gdyby był płatny CIS 5 to jego zwolennicy przerzuciliby się na płatną wersję skoro free jest taka dobra.
Co o tym sądzicie?

To nie tylko ty chciałbyś wiedzieć czemu oni za free dają swój pakiet ,jakiś czas temu na forum comodo ktoś zadał podobne pytanie Comodo odpowiedziało że zarabia na innych swoich produktach.Zresztą CIS także jest w wersji płatnej od niedawna

Human potential unleashed through a Trusted Internet.

Communications has advanced the human race through the ages because it helped us retain and share vital information and behaviors. The first cave paintings and written scrolls evolved to printing presses and books, which then, exponentially, ignited scores of other revolutionary developments. In just 100 years, for instance, we learned how to traverse vast distances in jet planes what would have taken weeks on horseback! This is why believe communications advances human potential.

Now the Internet has become the central communications engine of our time, expanding our reach more broadly than ever before. With this tremendous reach however, the Internet has yet to achieve its full potential as a Trusted Internet. Today, we must contend with an Internet fraught with fraudsters as we singularly contend with challenges of trying to figure out who and what to trust online. We go online but we do so knowing that not all sites are equally trustworthy or that we probably shouldn’t trust most online sites with our very identities.

Dzięki szef za tak szczegółowe informacje
ale tak sobie je czytam i czytam i się zaczynam zastanawiać. Ich wypowiedzi są aż zbyt szczegółowe tzn. dobrze dopracowane. Zależy im na bezpiecznym internecie bo to buduje zaufanie i umożliwia lepszy rozwój np: sklepów online. Taaaaak jasne już w to wierze przecież na taki argument można odeprzeć, że działają na korzyść zwyczajnie wszystkich firm, które działają w internecie nawet potencjalnie takich, które chciałyby im zaszkodzić.
Powiem tak jak coś wygląda zbyt dobrze to zazwyczaj gdzieś jest haczyk i wątpię by o nim jawnie powiedzieli.
No ale może szukam dziury w całym. Takie myślenie Polaczka gdzie go tu chcą wykręcić i nabić w butelkę. Ale to już nie moja wina że byliśmy pod zaborami i nas nauczyli takiego myślenia
A swoją drogą ciekawe jaki kapitał stoi za firmą CIS 5? Gdzie jest ich główna siedziba? I jakie instytucje rządowe zaufały CIS-owi albo czyje oprogramowanie wybierają głównie? Ale o tym w innym temacie.

Większość programów jest wersji płatnej i free.Free zawsze jest ucięta i ma zazwyczaj pomóc rozwijać wersję płatne.A co do haczyka Comodo to jakby był to już zapewne ktoś by puścił farbe

Tylko kto im daje te dotacje? I w jakim kraju jest główna siedziba CISa?
Dobra niech będzie w jakimś państwie UE. To jeżeli byłyby przekazywane środki publiczne na działalność firmy tworzącej CISa to raczej byłby ten produkt przeznaczony dla obywateli danego kraju a tak nie jest chyba albo gdyby fundusze dawała UE to powiedzmy tylko dla obywateli UE.
Bo nie wydaje mi się by jakieś państwo chciało przeznaczać wpływy z podatków aby np: Polacy czy też daleko w innym zakątku świata mieli darmowe i do tego dobre oprogramowanie antywirusowe. Zresztą czytałem, że są różne wersje danego antywirusa na różne położenie geograficzne bo inne wirusy stanowią zagrożenie w Chinach a inne w Europie, choć nie wiem czy to dobra polityka. Bo niby dlaczego mam nie czytać Chińskich stronek jak znam powiedzmy Chiński, Japoński Koreański i kilka innych języków wschodu?
